Fola Adeola to run for Ogun State Governorship as posters flood ABK

INDICATIONS emerged on Wednesday that the running mate of former chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, in the 2011 presidential election, under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Mr Fola Adeola, may have joined the governorship race in Ogun State ahead the 2015 elections.

Awareness posters and banners with the picture of the former Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, who is from the Egba extraction, were seen in some parts of the metropolis.

Adeola’s name and logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were boldly written on the posters and banners, though his picture was not on them.

The posters were sighted at various strategic locations, including Itoku, Isale Igbein, Ijaiye, Obantoko, Ake, Totoro, Iyana Mortuary and Lafenwa areas of Abeokuta, the state capital.
