Barcelona renew Gavi’s contract, insert €1bn buyout clause

FC Barcelona has announced an agreement with Pablo Páez Gavira, ‘Gavi’, to extend his contract to 30 June 2026. The La Liga club said the buyout clause for the new contract for the Spanish youngster is set at 1 billion euros. The event for Gavi’s new contract extension will take place on Thursday 15 September
