The best of East African photography 2022 – in pictures

The winners of the 5th edition of the East African Photography Awards have been announced, with winning projects on the war in Ethiopia, urban development in Kenya and climate change in Tanzania. Additionally, new single image categories were introduced, expanding the creative brief.
