What a country called Nigeria - The Lamentation of a friend

People don't trust Nigerians at all. White travelling international, its remarkable how peoples facial expressions change from a smile into a frown as soon as I bring out my passport. I mean, I try to keep a smiling face despite the obvious distaste for the owner of the pasport. And the fact that i am on an assignment for a worthy cause just doesnt make sense any longer, it doesnt change a damn thing.

I am firstly a Nigerian, and that makes me a suspect for crime, I cannot be trusted. It feels so bad knowing I am already judged upon entry to any country as been a potential threat, not because I am not smart, or because I look like a crimal, or because I am carrying drugs. Its all because I carry a green pasport. Its inevitable that the world is slowing growing to dislike Nigerians, and with our constantly damaged image we are slowing losing the few sympathizers we have left.

very soon even our numerous corrupted Politicians/Rulers won't have anywhere to run too any longer. The US has banned us from VISA lotteries and the UK just doesnt want us, they are even planning to send back our prisoners. What a country!
