A female councillor in Plateau State, Hannatu Bawa, who was kidnapped on Tuesday by gunmen has escaped from her abductors. The PUNCH had reported that the female councillor who represents Kabwir-Fadar ward in Kanke Local Government Area of the state was kidnapped at her house in the community.
