Two arrested for abducting 15-year-old female student

The Vigilance Service of Ogun State has arrested two suspects -Gbenga Adesanya and Sodiq Osanyintola- for allegedly abducting a 15-year-old female secondary school student, Kehinde Owoniko, in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The VSO also claimed that the third suspect, Oye Atunbi, escaped arrest and is currently on the run. One shot gun and 11 fake identity cards were allegedly recovered from the suspects.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the suspects allegedly abducted Owoniko, a senior secondary school 1 student of Egba High School, Asero, Abeokuta, at gun point when she went to ease herself in the bush behind the school premises.The suspects also allegedly made incisions on the victim’s wrist and chest with a razor blade, before applying some “black powder” on the injury, in an attempt to hypnotise her.

Owoniko was later bundled into a car conveying two other victims earlier abducted by the gang. Before driving the victims away to an unknown destination, the suspects were said to have taken the telephone numbers of their parents.
