Bright sparks: Ian Parry photojournalism grant – in pictures

The Ian Parry photojournalism grant (IPPG) has championed emerging photographers for the last three decades. The IPPG recipient receives financial support, mentorship and continuing assistance with promoting their work. As the Guardian becomes the IPPG’s new media partner, along with Canon which sponsors the grant, we look back at some of the award winners’ brilliant work. Applications are now open for the 2023 grant.
