Disco balls on wheels: Soho’s cycle rickshaws – in pictures

In last year’s king’s speech, King Charles announced a government bill aimed at revolutionising the licensing system for London’s three-wheeled rickshaw-style carriages. Describing them as a ‘scourge’ on the capital, the government seeks to address the longstanding issue of unregulated pedicabs operating under outdated laws dating back to 1869. The bill promises to hand Transport for London (TfL) the power to regulate, control fares and perform criminal record checks
