EPL: Awoniyi out of Nottingham Forest pre-season tour

Taiwo Awoniyi has been exempted from Nottingham Forest’s pre-season tour of Spain.Awoniyi, according to reports, was excused from the tour for family reasons.Nottingham Forest will engage in three friendly games during the tour.The 26-year-old endured an injury-ravaged campaign last season.The Nigeria international scored six goals with the Tricky Trees managing to escape relegation.Steve Cooper’s side will kick off the new season with a home fixture against Bournemouth on August 17.
