Nigeria hammered Mexico 3-0 to finish ahead their North American opponents at the top of Group D with goals from Rasheedat Ajibade, Uchenna Kanu and Aminat Yakubu ensuring the incredible victory for the African giants.

Nikyu says the team was full of joy and excitement over his ladies’ performance against the Mexicans and are fully motivated to battle the European giants SPAIN in the quarter-final stage.
