APC Controls 31 States, ADC Poses No Threat – Nasarawa Gov Sule

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has dismissed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as no threat to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.The governor stated that a party currently in control of 31 out of Nigeria’s 36 states cannot be afraid of an opposition party that does not govern even a single state.“A party controlling 31 states cannot actually be scared of a party (ADC) that doesn’t control one state,” Governor Sule declared.He made the remark while addressing concerns about the emerging opposition coalition, insisting that the APC remains dominant and unshaken by the ADC’s activities.The statement comes amid ongoing political realignments and discussions about possible opposition platforms for the 2027 polls. Governor Sule maintained that the APC’s widespread control at the state level gives it a clear advantage.He further emphasised that the ruling party will not be distracted by what he described as a negligible challenge from the ADC.
