Boko Haram says 2 of the girls are dead and 20 are sick

A Boko Haram intermediary has disclosed that 2 of the abducted girls are dead while 20 others are sick. According to a statement released by Boko Haram representatives via Associated Press yesterday, 2 of the Chibok school girls have died from snakebite poisoning. This is coming after Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the dreaded sect stated he would be selling the girls because Allah had instructed him to. The news of the death of 2 of the over 200 girls abducted has thrown the small town of Chibok into mourning. This has also intensied the #BringBackOurGirls protest across social media platforms. The intermediary further stated that 20 of the teenage girls are currently sick.
