Gen Buhari did not Collapse in Calabar says APC

The information that the presidential candidate of the Nigeria’s opposition party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari collapsed while delivering his speech in Calabar during the Presidential Campaign on 7 January, has been described by his campaign aide as a rumour and slander.

The information about Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s ill health was branded by his supporters as another effort by the PDP-led government to defame APC’s candidate. Explaining the situation a campaign aide who spoke on condition of anonymity said that Buhari actually tripped on the wrapper but quickly restored the balance.
