Masquerades invades Church in Ondo State and beat Pastor weell

Four masquerades, which reportedly attacked a Christ Apostolic Church in Epinmi Akoko area of Ondo State, flogged pastors and members of the congregation during church service on Sunday.

A source told LEADERSHIP that the masquerades invaded the church while the service was going on and this abruptly ended the service.

It was also gathered that when the masquerades arrived at the church premises, the workers challenged them but were overpowered.

On sighting the masquerades, other worshippers fled, leaving the pastors identified as Jacob Ogunmola and Kehinde Ilori behind, and their attackers reportedly had a field day beating them.


LEADERSHIP investigation revealed that the incident was later reported at the police station in the town and one of the suspects was apprehended. - allroundnews
