Hello readers! Welcome to another GUEST POST WEEKEND here on A Loco Viva Voce. Today’s Guest Post is crime e-book written by Larry Sun. It’s subtitle is called “The First Book of the Household Series”.

Larry was born in Nigeria on July 1, 1986. He developed a love for words and ideas at seventeen and started writing short stories just to entertain himself. At 21, he decided to try his hand in writing standard stories of which some of them include THE HOUSEHOLD SERIES: THE BRAND OF CAIN and THE PARADOX OF ABEL (A sequel). While he was writing the first book he tried to get himself into the country’s Armed Force but he was turned down due to defective eyesight. Larry is near-sighted. He devotes a great deal of time and patience on the research for his novels. THE BRAND OF CAIN is his first novel, and he is currently working on his third book titled BLACK MARIA (A Tale of Two Thieves). He is a new Nigerian writer who hopes to become a household name with his writing style.

THE BRAND OF CAIN (A body outside the house, suspicion falls inside)

Africa’s first detective tackles one of the most baffling cases of his career.

Heredity has been too strong on Richard Philip who was born poor at the wrong side of the blanket; an armed-robber rapes an innocent girl and Richard is the product. Now, after twenty-seven years, that child is heading the path of crime his father has once trod. He gets himself employed as the driver of a business tycoon, and the shocking secrets he learns about his new u and the gorgeous wife culminate into a well-planned, cold-blooded ‘murder’.

At already half past five one morning, a fourteen-year-old boy discovers a body with a bullet hole on its forehead lying outside its compound. And Detective Lot’s sudden appearance at the crime scene is a surprise to his sidekick, Daniel Famous, a twenty-four-year-old police officer, who, much to the chagrin of the detective, never believes for once that the crime can be solved.
