FX Wahala: ATM Cash Withdrawal Restrictions in African Countries

Naira denominated cards are no longer permitted for cash withdrawals in all African Countries except Nigeria.

Only POS and Web transactions will be allowed in these environments.

In addition the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) transaction that allows caedholders to be charged in Naira abroad has also been restricted on all Naira denominated cards. You are hereby advised to transact in the currency of your location.
