Swedish Drivers License Costs like 440,000 Naira

Ooops, Yeah that was my reaction when i asked a swedish collegue of mine during my trip to the country. Getting a Swedish Drivers license may cost you up to 10,000 - 20,000 SEK (Approximately @ 22:1 exchange rate).

That na money for car nah?

This is argued on the rigorous tests done before you are given the License and it takes almost a 6 months Journey to get training done. Check License types on Wikipedia, Though i was told it is one time thing buh...

Nigeria charges N5000 for new and N4000 for renewal, Many drivers just get the cars and get on the road. Maybe the Government should just create a working Transportation system and go the swedish way so that we can think twice before getting a license?
