Senate President David Mark Denies N47 Million Car Gift to Tuface

Senate President David Mark has denied giving a N47m Ferrari car to singer, Tuface Innocent Idibia. Social media gossip had alleged that Mark presented the car, as a gift, to Tuface at his recent wedding in Dubai.

Mark's media aide, Kola Ologbondiyan, said in a statement yesterday, that his boss neither visited Dubai for Tuface's wedding nor was represented there.

Ologbondiyan noted that rather, his principal attended the 128th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference currently holding in Quito, Ecuador.

"It's also instructive to state that the president of the Senate, Senator Mark, didn't make a car donation of any kind to Tuface before departing Nigeria for Ecuador and neither did he purchase nor send any car to Dubai as a wedding gift for the musician or his wife. Who made the donation on behalf of the president of the Senate? It's therefore a puerile lie for anybody to say Senator Mark bought a Ferrari car worth N47million for Tuface. The allegation is wicked, ridiculous and irresponsible."
