HURRAY!!! Hull City secure promotion to the Premier League

Hull City secured promotion to the Premier League despite Nicky Maynard's late equaliser for 10-man Cardiff City.

Steve Bruce's side, who started the day second in the table, fell behind thanks to Fraizer Campbell's composed finish.

That gave Watford, who began in third, the advantage before Nick Proschwitz prodded home a close-range equaliser.

Paul McShane put Hull ahead, Maynard's penalty making it 2-2 after Proschwitz missed from the spot for the hosts.
