Herdsmen Kill Nine In Niger

Some Fulani herdsmen have killed nine members of Kushaka village in an early morning attack on Thursday.

The attack occurred at about 1am when the herdsmen numbering over 100 invade the sleepy town and started chasing anybody on sight, in the Process axed nine people to death and injured one.

When contacted the Niger state Police Public Relation Officer, Richard Ogunche confirmed the incident and said the command has begun an investigation on the attacks which took the town by surprise.

He further mentioned that a detachment of over 200 Police officer from the command has been dispersed to the community.
