Man Goes on Killing Rampage: Kills 7 Including Mother and Uncle

A 22-year-old man, Chidiebele Mmadubuko, slaughtered his mother, an uncle and five other villagers.

The incident happened at 11.pm on Saturday at Oraukwu village in Amanuke, Awka-North Local Government area of Anambra State.

Reports say that Mmadubuko started acting strange on Saturday night when he returned to the village, attacking people. He first descended on a four-year-old boy, who was on his way to get his parent’s phone where it was being charged and moved on to his mother was when she tried to rescue the boy from her son.

The assailant also macheted his Uncle and five other villagers to death. He was eventually overpowered by a mob and beaten to death.
