Nigeria signs deal with Siemens to upgrade the country's electricity supply 11,000 megawatts by 2023

• Nigeria seals electricity deal with Siemens AG under its Electrification Roadmap.
• The deal will see Siemens generating 7,000 megawatts by 2021, 11,000 megawatts by 2023 and overall grid capacity to 25,000 megawatts in country faced with erratic power supply.

President Muhammadu Buhari while making remarks after meeting with the Global CEO of the Siemens, Joe Kaeser on Monday, said the government's priority is to stabilise the power generation and gas supply sector in the country.
