Bayelsa Assembly Elects New Speaker

Abraham Ngobere has been sworn in as new Speaker of Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

Ngobere represents Brass Constituency 3 and was Deputy Speaker of the House until his latest appointment.

Earlier, former Speaker of the Assembly, Monday Obolo, resigned from his position.

Member representing Ekeremor Constituency 3, Michael Ogbere, was also elected as new Deputy Speaker of the House.
