Excessive powers and resources may turn Governors into demigods and dictators

The term restructuring has become a reoccurring decimal in our political space. Major stakeholders, political office holders, religious clerics and elder statesmen in the country have been championing the cause for restructuring Nigeria. Notable among the stakeholders is the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Recently, the Governors from South-south geo political zone also called for restructuring of Nigeria.
