Accidental Discharge injures 2 at the Lagos Airport

Two persons, yesterday, narrowly escaped death as the gun of an orderly attached to a Senator accidentally discharged when he tried to remove the margazine before boarding a flight at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The orderly and a woman standing by were injured on the legs. According to eye witness account , the orderly who was to travel on Arik Air and wanted to lodge his gun, which is a standard practice on air travel, but the gun released a bullet that splinted and hit both the man and woman on the leg as he bent down to pull the magazine out of the gun
